Brent – Majority Owner and Visionary
Brent, the heart and soul of Mountainside Café, brings decades of experience and a true passion for fostering community. From humble beginnings to building a legacy in the region, Brent’s entrepreneurial spirit has paved the way for Mountainside Café’s success.
- A Bagel Like No Other: Brent personally drives to New York to bring back the famed Utopia Bagels, voted Bagel Fest’s #1 Bagel of 2024. This dedication ensures that every bite you take is something special.
- An Entrepreneurial Journey: Brent’s entrepreneurial roots run deep—he started his first pizza shops in 1988, began in real estate in 1999, founded Mountainside Real Estate in 2004, and even ran a bakery for Shaw’s supermarkets in the early 80s. His love for food and community is clear in every corner of the café.
- Family First: As a proud dad to three kids—Dexter, Blake, and Chase—and three German shepherds—Lacey, Luna, and Molly—Brent infuses family values into the café’s warm, welcoming atmosphere.
